50 Artists / 50 Bucks

50 Artists / 50 Bucks, an annual auction and artist showcase, will take place on September 15, 2012 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. The Armory is seeking local artists to participate in this unique one-night only even! Artists will create a work of art within three hours! The work will then be auctioned to a live audience!
- This is a juried exhibition opportunity
- Artists are provided a 16x20 canvas to work on. Artists must bring their own art supplies.
- Works created must be two-dimensional and done on-site between 5pm and 8pm
- The starting bid of all works is $50
- Work created must be for sale. The split of final bid price is 50/50 between artists and the Armory.
- Unsold artwork must be taken by the artist or a representative at the conclusion of the event
- Applications must be received by July 1, 2012. Submit a maximum of five examples of your work via https://armoryart.slideroom.com. There is a $10.00 fee for submissions.
- Accepted artists will be notified by July 15, 2012

A juried open invitational that is open to artists from the tri-county area and will feature works of all media. Exhibition organized by the Armory Art Center. Open to artists working in all media, this exhibition will showcase recent work by emerging and mid-career artists. Artists are invited to apply to exhibit work created within the last three years. This exhibition is organized by the Armory Art Center.
· Submit a maximum of five images via https://armoryart.slideroom.com. There is a $30.00 fee for submissions.
· First, second, and honorable mention prizes will be awarded.
· Entries must be received by September 7, 2012.
· Notification by email will occur by September 14th.
· The Armory will email accepted artists of status in exhibition and delivery date.

INFERNO 2011 boasted over 500 attendees!
The Armory Art Center is seeking artists to participate in this one-night-only juried exhibition.
Theme: sinister, horror, day of the dead, unsettling, voodoo, vampy/campy, secrets etc…
· Application and images (4x6 at 300dpi) must be sent by October 1, 2012 via email only to loren@armoryart.org.
· Applications will NOT be accepted in person or by mail.
