DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Position: Nationally recognized art education center in Southeast Florida is seeking a professional in not-for- profit to oversee all activities related to development, special events, volunteer programs, and facility rental.  Reporting to the Executive Director, this important role will assure our organization raises the annual funds necessary to ensure the stability of our dynamic local art center.

Requiements: A college degree in a related field and a minimum of 5-years experience in development are required.  Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to interface with donors and volunteers in a highly professional manner, and being a team player are key. Salary range is $45,000 - $60,000.

JEWELRY AND METALSMITH FACULTY POSITIONS

Positions:  Three part time adjunct faculty positions are currently available at The Armory Art Center of West Palm Beach, FL to provide part time instruction in adult jewelry and metalsmithing courses.   Course content could include enameling, advanced beading and wiring, advanced fabrication, and stone setting.
Requirements: Previous experience teaching jewelry in an adult setting; demonstrated skill level; ability to develop an 8-week course curriculum. Work schedule is typically one three-hour class once or twice per week and may be scheduled Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.   Compensation will be determined by number of enrolled students per class.
