CREATIVITY/EXISTENTIAL PAINTING
This course is about how original your work can be; not about how skillfully you can paint an object. It's about reflecting your creative self, mirroring your intuition. We begin our paintings with a feeling not with a plan. This objective will loosen any creative blocks you may be dealing with now. Each piece that you work on will indicate to you what creative engine is already operating through you, so too, what you might be lacking! This is an evolutionary process. Painting is a process of discovery. Artistic originality cannot be taught, it must be found. Are you an explorer? An experimenter? What role does art play in your life? Which kind of artist are you? Confidence building will lead you to see that you do have the capacity to fulfill your potential, not just as an artistic person but also as a human being.
