Robert Barra

Robert Barra, educated at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Art Students League of New York is an elected member of Allied Artists of America. He has won many awards including The Windsor and the Newton Award of Excellence. He is listed in the Who’s Who in American Art, and has appeared in The New York Times, Gourmet, and The New Yorker. In the past, Robert Barra has exhibited at the Butler Institute of American Art, The National Arts Club, the Salamagundi Club, and in private collections throughout the United States and Europe.

Ron Garrett

Rob Garrett is an artist, printmaker, and educator who has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows over his 30 year art career. He was a visiting artist sojourn to Bangalore, India, where he curated a touring international exhibition of American printmakers. He has an MFA in printmaking from Kent State University, OH, and a BFA from Guilford College, Greensboro, NC. He also studied drawing and painting at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. Currently, Ron is founder of Raga Press, a fine art printmaking atelier in Boca Raton, Florida. Its mission is to be an advocate in South Florida for traditional printmaking processes and limited edition hand pulled works of art.

Ronald Shaw

Ronald Shaw

Ronald Shaw received his BA from UCF. He relocated to South Florida and began working at Rare Earth Gallery. He travelled to the Cup Creek Foundation for a summer residency helping build their anagama wood kiln, sparking his interest in wood and soda firing and using native clays and materials. He began teaching raku and wheel throwing at the Armory where he continues to experiment with forms and alternative firing methods with both youth and adults. In the summer of 2012, Ron began a one year apprenticeship with Justin Lambert at Live Oak Pottery in Jupiter where they focus primarily on wood and soda firing. Ron maintains two distinct bodies of work, a functional soda or wood fire line of pottery and a sculptural line combining multiple clay bodies and firing methods coupled with various living and organic elements.

Rosario Alborta

Rosario Alborta studied Arts at the University of "Comunicaciones y Artes, SP Brasil, Cornell University, Corcoran School of Arts, and at the Florence Academy of Arts, Florence Italy. Continued her education studying with Bruno Luccchesi, and Paul Lucchesi in Pietrasanta, Italy. Robert Bodem, at the Florence Academy of Arts, Eugene Daub, John Coleman, David Klass, at the Loveland Academy of Art, Loveland Colorado, Peter Rubino at the Armory Art Center, and others. Her work has been exhibited in numerous Galleries, Museums, and shows in South America and in USA. Her sculpture has been chosen to represent Bolivia ( her native country) at South American Arts Shows in Coral Gables, Florida.

Sam Perry received his MFA from Florida Atlantic University and is a recipient of the South Florida Cultural Consortium's Visual Artists Fellowship. He currently teaches as an Adjunct Professor of Studio Arts at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Sandy Levine

Sandy Levine has been living and sculpting in New York City and West Palm Beach for the past forty years. She studied with Leonid Lehrman at the Sculpture Center and with Paul Lucchese in Pietrasante, Italy. Spence Townsend

Spence Townsend

Spence Townsend earned his BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Southern Mississippi, and his MFA in painting and drawing from the University of Georgia. He works primarily with oil painting and screen printing and also explores the possibilities between art, music, and animation. He taught painting and drawing courses at the University of Georgia. Townsend was the manual screen printer at a graphics company in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. His art has been featured in group exhibitions at the Georgia Museum of Art and Rogue Space in New York City. His solo exhibitions include a 2016 show at the Lyndon House in Athens, Georgia, and a 2015 showing at Southside Gallery in Oxford, Mississippi. He has received numerous awards and grants such as the Wilson Center Graduate Research Award, the Tom Hollingsworth Art Scholarship Fund for Graduate Research, and The Mary Rosenblatt Graduate Scholarship. American Illustration published one of Townsend's pieces in their annual 2016 online anthology.

  Suzi K. Edwards has been designing, fabricating, and installing Public Art mosaic and ceramic projects in Florida for two decades. Successful installations include: The main Palm Beach County library, the Orlando Shakespeare Theater, and the Susan B. Katz Theater in Pembroke Pines. Ted Matz

Ted Matz

Ted Matz held the position of Chair of Painting and Drawing at the Lighthouse Art Center Gallery and School of Art in Tequesta, Florida where he taught watercolor, oil and acrylic painting, pastels and plein air painting. He has taught classes and workshops in Michigan and Vermont, and currently does domestic and international workshops in Massachusetts, Maine, Italy, France and Cuba. He majored in Watercolor at the Eastern Michigan University and graduate from Kendall College of Art and Design.  He has worked in design related positions with Jacobson’s Store, Inc, Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor. He chaired and coordinated the First, Second and Third Annual Lighthouse ArtCenter’s Plein Air Festival in Tequesta/Jupiter Florida and recently acted as consultant to the 4th Annual Festival.
