Deborah Adornato

Deborah Adornato is from Atlanta where she has worked as a studio potter for over 30 years. Her education in ceramics includes the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Penland School, and a 2 year apprenticeship at Wildcat Creek Potter in N C. After establishing her studio, Atlanta Street Potter in Roswell, GA., she was instrumental in designing a clay program for the city. She has been an instructor at both Roswell Clay West and in her own studio for over 20 years. Deborah's pots are primarily wheel thrown and reflect her passion for craftsmanship and a love of surface design and texture. Her current work, porcelain and stoneware fired in reduction and soda atmospheres, contain images relating to birds and migration.

Diane Slobotkin

Diane Slobotkin has been carving stone and wood since age 16. Her work is inspired by dance, focusing on movement and rhythm. She attended the School of visual Arts in NYC, and graduated from Syracuse University with a major in Art History, and received a Masters degree in Social Work at Columbia University. She has exhibited in New York, Florida, and California.

Gustavo Hoefs

Gustavo Hoefs began his career in 1981 working as a hobbyist at his Lake Worth home. The desire to build jewelry and create something beautiful has always been a constant. In the beginning, he sought help from gallery owners and friends who were jewelers. Gustavo took classes at craft schools in Penland, NC, Atlanta, GA, and worked as a bench jeweler in Black Mountain, NC. Moving to Columbus, OH, he worked for jeweler and lapidary artist Mark Abbott. In 2005 Gustavo opened Beechwold custom jewelry, the only exclusively all custom bridal jewelry shop in Columbus OH.

Ian Wiskoff

Ian C. Wiskoff is an illustrator and digital artist who has been in the creative field for over twenty years. Ian’s work includes imagery for several international corporations and advertising agencies as well as visual art for tee-shirts and apparel, logos and branding, and privately commissioned illustrations. He has recently completed a large-scale mural in the observatory stairwell at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium.

Isabel Gouveia

Isabel Gouveia has a background in painting, printmaking and new media. She was born and raised in Brazil and currently lives in Lake Worth, FL. She graduated as an Industrial Designer from the Arts Foundation Armando Alvares Penteado in Sao Paulo, and as an MFA in Visual Arts from FAU. Gouveia has been the recipient of many awards including a merit scholarship at Ox-Bow Art School, two Friedland Project Grants, Best In Show in the County Contemporary: All Media Juried Show at the Cultural Council of PBC, and a 2014 Esther Saylor Rothenberger Merit Scholarship. Her body of work investigates processes of digital printer manipulations as a metaphor of human manipulations of the environment to express her ideas of the potential effect on our world.

Jason LeVan

Jason LeVan

Jason LeVan graduated with honors from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, earning a BFA in studio arts and a minor in art history. Jason has worked as a glassblower, glass instructor, and studio technician. As an instructor, he has taught at Hot Soup Glass in Philadelphia, PA, and East Falls Glassworks in Glenn Echo, MD. In addition to completing assistantships and apprenticeships with master glass artists, Jason produced crystal glasses and stemware for Simon Pearce Glass. He currently continues his studio practices in glass and works for The Norton Museum of Art as an art handler.

Jeni Licata

Jeni Licata graduated from UCF in 2010 with a BS degree in Psychology, but art has always been her true passion. She has over ten years of experience working with children of all age ranges. After graduation she started working at Sandy Pines residential treatment center, a children’s mental health hospital in Jupiter, FL. It was here she learned that introducing art to a child in their early development stage is extremely important for creative growth and rehabilitation, allowing them to creatively express themselves and build self-awareness. When working with children, she keeps her lessons fun and engaging as well as educational. She specializes in ceramics using a variety of hand-building and glazing techniques and her work is mainly inspired by local marine life.

Jim Rigg graduated with a BFA from Wichita State University and was employed as a graphic designer for Kansas State University. Jim has been a painting instructor and demonstrator at workshops, art exhibits, art fairs, and presentations before art organizations. He was the former President of the Kansas Watercolor Society.
