Joan Luby Retrospective Exhibition to Benefit the Armory Art Center

WEST PALM BEACH, FL, December 30, 2016. Joan Luby: Vibrant Vision, A Lifetime of Joy in Creativity and Color will be on exhibit at the Armory Art Center in the East Gallery.

Joan Luby saw the world in bold, graphic color, and expressed her vision through art over the course of her life. Her paintings depict subjects drawn from her love of nature, wildlife, and everyday life experiences interpreted with her geometric prismatic style. A native New Yorker, Luby moved to Florida in 2005 and immediately began to pursue her passion for the arts at the Armory. Over the next 10 years she became increasingly involved by joining the Board of Directors and serving on several committees.

To honor this dynamic artist, the Armory Art Center has planned a retrospective exhibit and sale to benefit the Armory. The opening reception will be on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The exhibition will run from January 6th to February 4th. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
