Lisa Johnson, Director of the Jewelry/Metalsmithing, & Printmaking/Photography
Lisa graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with an MFA in metalsmithing and jewelry design and has a BFA from Miami University. Her artwork displays traditional metalsmithing and jewelry design techniques as well as processes found in ceramic and glass working. Recent publications featuring her work include Metalsmith Magazine’s “Exhibition in Print”, SNAG News “Technical Article: Slip Casting in Jewelry”, 500 Prints on Clay, New Earrings, and On Body and Soul: Contemporary Armor to Amulets. Lisa has served at the Armory as Director of Jewelry and Metalsmithing since July 7, 2014.
