Nate Ditzler grew up on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He completed a Master of Fine Arts at West Virginia University. His sculptures are featured in public collections including the Hawaii's State Foundation for Culture and the Arts as well as the Mayor’s Office for Culture and the Arts. Ditzler has artwork in private collections in the U.S., Switzerland, and Canada. He has shown in internationally galleries, juried exhibitions, solo exhibitions, and group shows. Nate Ditzler continues to develop art that explores nuances of the human condition while constantly expanding on his investigations of materials and means of fabrication. He was recently the Ceramic Area Technician and an Adjunct Professor at Marshall University.
