Gerard Bartlett

Gerard Bartlett is a wildlife artist who presently resides in Hobe Sound, FL. He began his career as a wood carver, competing in the Ward World Carving Championship, Ocean City, MD where he consistently won  top awards. He then took first place at the first World Fish Carving Championship Saltwater division Virginia Beach, VA. Wishing to change mediums he gained an apprenticeship at the Johnson Atelier in Princeton, NJ where he learned the processes involved In creating bronze sculpture, including mold making and metal-chasing. Gerard has also been an avid outdoorsman his whole life working as a guide, mate, and captain from Alaska to Cabo San Lucas and from Nova Scotia to Venezuela.
