Ellen Levy

Ellen Levy is an art jeweler and has been knitting for over 60 years.  She as found combining both hobbies and avocations has been an absolute joy. She has been selling her jewelry at art jewelry boutiques and major art shows in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Austin, Texas and southern Florida for the past 15 years and presently sells locally at Whitespace and the Armory Art Center. Ellen Levy’s first career was as an environmental designer, designing sensory stimulation environments for multiply handicapped individuals. Her second career was capital goods sales for one of the two largest hospital equipment companies in the world. Her third career was as executive vicep of a clinical research company that performed research for Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval, from which she retired. Ellen returned to her love of design when she studied jewelry design at the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach, Florida, the Taos Institute of Art in Taos, New Mexico and from many Master Jewelry Artists throughout the United States. As a graduate student in design, Ellen was deeply influenced by the geometry, form and function of the architects and designers of the Bauhaus School.  As a jewelry artist she has transformed her love of form and function into a unique combination of style, form, texture, and color.

Emily Steele

Emily Steele is a native of West Palm Beach, FL. She is a graduate of Dreyfoos School of the Arts and Rhode Island School of Design. She currently teaches painting and drawing at Bak Middle School of the Arts. Fun fact: when Emily was in Elementary school she attended summer camp at the Armory!

Gerson Rapoport received his MA in Design from City College, City University of NY. With over 37 years of teaching experience in sculpture, ceramics, craft, and foundry work, Gerson has produced many commissions that are part of private collections, synagogues, and public buildings.

Gustavo Hoefs

Gustavo Hoefs

Gustavo Hoefs began his career in 1981 working as a hobbyist at his Lake Worth home. The desire to build jewelry and create something beautiful has always been a constant. In the beginning, he sought help from gallery owners and friends who were jewelers. Gustavo took classes at craft schools in Penland, NC, Atlanta, GA, and worked as a bench jeweler in Black Mountain, NC. Moving to Columbus, OH, he worked for jeweler and lapidary artist Mark Abbott. In 2005 Gustavo opened Beechwold custom jewelry, the only exclusively all custom bridal jewelry shop in Columbus OH.

Heidi Mayfield

Heidi Mayfield was born in Charlottesville, and was first introduced to encaustic wax and oil painting when she watched her mother paint with as a child. She studied pottery at Piedmont Virginia Community College and then again at Daytona Community College before attending the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, FL where she studied graphic design. Her art training became invaluable in her art career working with interior designers all over South Florida creating custom, commissioned art and murals for their clients. Heidi joined the Lighthouse Art Center as faculty and thus began her teaching career, teaching acrylic, oil, abstract, mixed media and encaustic wax methods. She was recently commissioned by the Tennessee National Bank to paint 28 landscapes, representing the local mountain area for permanent exhibition in their new headquarters in Kingsport, TN. She now resides in Hendersonville, NC where she has an art gallery, studio and art school, where she continues to work and teach.

Ian Wiskoff

Ian Wiskoff

Ian C. Wiskoff is an illustrator and digital artist who has been in the creative field for over twenty years. Ian’s work includes imagery for several international corporations and advertising agencies as well as visual art for tee-shirts and apparel, logos and branding, and privately commissioned illustrations. He has recently completed a large-scale mural in the observatory stairwell at the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium.

Isabel Gouveia

Isabel Gouveia

Isabel Gouveia has a background in painting, printmaking and new media. She was born and raised in Brazil and currently lives in Lake Worth, FL. She graduated as an Industrial Designer from the Arts Foundation Armando Alvares Penteado in Sao Paulo, and as an MFA in Visual Arts from FAU. Gouveia has been the recipient of many awards including a merit scholarship at Ox-Bow Art School, two Friedland Project Grants, Best In Show in the County Contemporary: All Media Juried Show at the Cultural Council of PBC, and a 2014 Esther Saylor Rothenberger Merit Scholarship. Her body of work investigates processes of digital printer manipulations as a metaphor of human manipulations of the environment to express her ideas of the potential effect on our world.

Jeni Licata

Jeni Licata

Jeni Licata graduated from UCF in 2010 with a BS degree in Psychology, but art has always been her true passion. She has over ten years of experience working with children of all age ranges. After graduation she started working at Sandy Pines residential treatment center, a children’s mental health hospital in Jupiter, FL. It was here she learned that introducing art to a child in their early development stage is extremely important for creative growth and rehabilitation, allowing them to creatively express themselves and build self-awareness. When working with children, she keeps her lessons fun and engaging as well as educational. She specializes in ceramics using a variety of hand-building and glazing techniques and her work is mainly inspired by local marine life.

Jerry Ginsberg

Jerry Ginsberg is a freelance photographer whose Nature, landscape and travel images have graced the pages and covers of hundreds of books, magazines and travel catalogs. He is the only person to have photographed each and every one of America's National Parks with medium format cameras. His works have been exhibited from coast to coast and have received numerous awards in competition. Jerry's photographic archive spans virtually all of both North and South America. Jim Rigg

Jim Rigg graduated with a BFA from Wichita State University and was employed as a graphic designer for Kansas State University. Jim has been a painting instructor and demonstrator at workshops, art exhibits, art fairs, and presentations before art organizations. He was the former President of the Kansas Watercolor Society.
