Armory Hosts Honorary Trustees
Celebrating 20 years of artistic excellence, the Armory Art Center’s board of directors honored trustees during a dinner at Club Colette recently.
The evening began with a cocktail reception and a special showcase of the Armory’s current exhibition Armory Art Center: Then & Now, featuring historical photography and archived mementos from the local arts education and exhibition center’s past 20 years. After cocktails, guests dined on prime rib followed by a drawing for pieces of art created by Armory artists.
Guests included Alec and Sheila Engelstein, Michael and Annie Falk, Tom and Caroline Forrest, City of West Palm Beach Commissioner Jeff Koons, Jamie and Nancy Lambrecht, Allen and Zelda Mason, Robert and Mary Montgomery, Linda Rossbach, Ken and Patricia Santucci, James Swope, Everett and Tricia Waldman and Robert Wechsler.
The Armory Art Center is a not-for-profit community-based visual arts center providing opportunities for individual growth, self-expression, increased awareness and appreciation of the arts through participation in studio, exhibition, lecture and other educational programs. The Center seeks to educate, enrich and engage a diverse population through the "experience of art," and is sponsored in part by the State of Florida, Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Arts Council, and the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council.
