Alicia Jane Boswell

Alicia Jane Boswell  received  her  MFA  in  Metalsmithing/Jewelry  from  the University  of  Massachusetts  Dartmouth.  She  has  attained  positions of  visiting  professor,  Jewelry  &  Metalsmithing  artist- in- residence, Studio  technician,  Museum  exhibitions  assistant,  and  visiting workshop  instructor  at  arts  &  crafts  education  centers  around the  United  States  &  Internationally  including  The  Center  for Enamel  Art,  Arrowmont  School  of  Arts  &  Crafts,  the  Society  of Florida  Goldsmiths,  &  The  Textile  Support  Group  of  Pavia,  Italy. In  2013  she  was  honored  to  be  invited  to  assist  and  display  work  in a  small  workshop  at  the  Metropolitan  Museum  of  Art’s  Ratti Textile  Center  which  coincided  with  the  exhibition  “Gems  of European  Lace”  1600- 1920.  In  April  of  the  same  year,  she  was invited  by  the  Textile  Support  Organization  in  Pavia  Italy  to  exhibit work,  lecture  and  teach  a  small  textile/lace  jewelry  workshop. Alicia  also  has  had  the  pleasure  of  exhibiting  at  SIERAAD  the International  Jewelry  Fair  in  Amsterdam.  Her  work  can  be  found  in public  &  private  collections,  including  the  Enamel  Arts  Foundation & The Lace Museum in Sunnyvale California. Alicia currently pursues her studio practice & limited production work  &  love  of  teaching  in  West  Palm  Beach  Florida; she was the 2016-17 jewelry artist-in-residence at the Armory Art Center, and continues to teach there. She is also currently on the board of The Enamelist  Society.

Allyson Daley

Allyson Daley

Allyson Daley is a textile artist specializing in sewing, fabric manipulation, and embellishment. She has received certifications to teach from major industry manufacturers including Sulky of America, Superior Threads, and Bernina of America. For the last 6 years she has worked as creative assistant to local artist Mary Fisher. Allyson’s art is inspired by an exploration of color and texture. In her leisure time, Allyson enjoys loom weaving, quilting, needle arts, jewelry making, and reading.

Amber Dawn Tutwiler

Amber Dawn Tutwiler received her MFA from Florida Atlantic University (2017). Originally from South Florida, she is a hybrid maker who works across painting, sculpture, audio, and installation. Her research involves the intersection between the body, narrative, and ephemerality. Amber was an artist-in-residence at the Armory Art Center.

Amy Wolsky

Amy Wolsky

Amy  Wolsky  lives  in  Boca  Raton,  Florida,  and  has  been  a  part-time  artist  for  over  50  years.    Her  focus  is  on  clay  sculpture,  specifically  animals  in  motion.  The  sculptures  are  extremely  labor  intensive,  technically  challenging,  and  joyous  to  construct.  Amy  is  also  a  trained    silversmith,  enamellist,  and  stone  cutter.  From  the  age  10  to  25  she  attended  art  school  at  the  DeCordova  Museum  in  Lincoln,  MA.  She  is  a  member  of  the  Florida  Society  of  Goldsmiths,  Enamel  Guild  of  South  Florida,  and  the  Gem  and  Mineral  Society  of  the  Palm  Beaches.  Amy  has  exhibited  her  jewelry  and  animal  sculptures  locally  and  nationwide.

Andrea Huffman

Andrea Huffman

Andrea Huffman received a master’s degree in art education from Florida International University. She taught art for thirty-one years in Broward County Public Schools and now exhibits locally and nationally in juried and group shows, as well as solo exhibits at the Lee Wagener Gallery at Ft. Lauderdale Airport and Everglades National Park. Ms. Huffman has received two Broward County Creative Investment Grants and in 2011 was selected as one of only two Florida art educators for the first State Teachers Artist-in-Residence (STAR) program.

Anthony Burks

Anthony Burks is a native Floridian who works in a variety of media including pen & ink, pastels, watercolor, and color pencil. An Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale graduate, Burks has won numerous awards including Best of Show. Burks has also exhibited his work at various venues including the Cornell Museum, Historical Jenkins, the PBC Governor's Club, Ann Norton Sculpture Garden, PBC Cultural Council, Nubian Art Gallery, and Eg2 Gallery Group. He has worked with regional organizations including Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, The Urban League, The Children's Coalition, PB Artist Showcase, Center for Creative Education, and Voices of Pride. Barry Schein

Barry Schein is an award winning commercial photographer and educator. During his career he has created photography for many nationally branded Fortune 500 companies and their advertising agencies. He’s a recipient of an EMMY award for his work at NBC TV in New York as well as an Eastman Kodak Professional Photographers award. Both Nikon and the international journal Graphis have recognized his work. Mr. Schein’s work is in a number of private collections.

Bill Buchanan

Bill Buchanan received his BFA from University of Montevallo and a Master’s in Art Education from Florida International University.  He is a retired National Board Certified teacher and a 10 year Visual Arts teaching alumni of Bak Middle School of the Arts.  Bill is a practicing studio artist, working in a variety of media including fired clay, photography, assemblage, and painting.

Bobbie Brubaker

Bobbie Brubaker is a mixed media artist and taught traditional black and white photography, mixed media and digital photography in Palm Beach County before retiring in 2018. She studied at the University of Maryland and taught 2D art there before moving to Palm Beach County in 1988. Bobbie’s curiosity keeps her constantly experimenting and exploring. Her current work is in digital imagery. Bobbie is National Board Certified in Studio Art and enjoys working with teenagers and encouraging their exploration of art and finding their personal voice. For 15 years she has taught Advanced Placement Studio Art courses and is an AP Studio Art Exam Reader. Bobbie’s work has been exhibited in Miami, Orlando and throughout Florida. Bobbie is the manager of Palm Beach Regional Scholastic Arts and she teaches professional development for PBC art school teachers at the Armory.

Bonnie Bruner

Bonnie Bruner

Bonnie Bruner is a multi-media artist and photographer Her art education began at Miami-Dade State College, where she had the privilege of being the professor’s assistant to the now famous, Duane Hanson. After graduating with an A.A. in Art, she transferred to University of Florida where her love of photography began with her professor Jerry Uelsmann. She completed her B.F.A. at Florida Atlantic University and went on to complete a M.A.E. During her career in art education, she has received grants from Florida Art Education Association, Florida Humanities, and P.A.C.E. Bonnie has exhibited her artwork at galleries locally and nationally.
