Session 6: July 6th-August 15th (On-Campus & Virtual)

Enrollment in Individual Class Days Now Available

For the remainder of Session 6, we will be extending the opportunity for students to sign up for individual classes (1-5 days) for on campus and select virtual classes. Those who are interested in enrolling on a per diem basis will need to call the registrar 24 hours prior to the class in order to sign up. Regular membership benefits are currently suspended and will be reinstated at a later date. Please contact the registrar for any inquiries.

The Armory provides art classes for students of all ages and levels of experience. Courses are taught in our 12 state-of-the-art studios. Disciplines include ceramics, digital arts, drawing, glass fusing, jewelry, painting, printmaking, fibers, and sculpture. Sessions are 8-weeks long but we offer shorter-term workshops and 4-week classes too.  


The Armory offers classes for youth enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade. Experienced Armory instructors teach classes in a multitude of media. Middle and high school prep classes have helped many students develop the work they need to be prepared for auditions. The Armory offers Winter and Summer Art Camp yearly.



Official Statement of Health Precautions Related to COVID-19

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, faculty, and staff members.  All instructions must be followed.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

Attending classes at the Armory Art Center is a completely voluntarily act and by attending one assumes all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

During social distancing there will be:

  • No membership discounts or multiple class discounts
  • A maximum enrollment of 8 students per class, plus the instructor
  • Water fountains will be disabled; students are encouraged to bring their own water bottles

Policy Agreement

All requirements below must be followed. By signing up, you have agreed to abide by all the policies listed and any updates that may occur.

  • Thermal temperature checks are mandatory each day
  • Facial coverings (masks) should be cloth/fabric and cover an individual’s nose, mouth, and chin.)  Facial coverings are to be worn at all times except when there is a functional (practical) reason for the covering not to be worn
  • Maintain a minimum 6 feet between people at all times; this includes seated distance in class/open studio
  • Sharing of work materials is not recommended 
  • Regular handwashing is required
  • Only two individuals in a restroom at a time
  • Only use specified entrances, exits, and traffic patterns
  • Congregating in groups is prohibited

If you are feeling ill or anyone in your family is sick, we ask that you please refrain from attending.

Anyone not adhering to these guidelines will be required to leave the Armory premises.
